7 Khoon Maaf is a romantic thriller drama and is an adaptation of the short story Susanna's Seven Husbands written by Ruskin Bond. The movie follows the story of an Anglo-Indian woman named Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes (Priyanka Chopra). Susanna who lost her parents at an early age has left her with a large inheritance. She is hungry for love and would go to any extent in pursuit of true love. In hopes of finding the perfect man, Susanna married several times as each of her husbands died mysteriously.
