Albela is a romantic comedy drama. The movie follows the story of a tour guide named Tony (Govinda), who is very popular and easy-going. Tony meets an Indian girl named Sonia (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), who is from Austria, and wants to travel to Malaga. Sonia appoints Tony as her travel guide. Sometime later, Tony falls in love with Sonia and plans to woo her. However, things take a turn when he realises that Sonia is in love with Prem (Jackie Shroff), an Indian reporter whom she met in Austria. With Prem in her life, will Sonia be able to see Tony's love for her?
