Band Baaja Baaraat is a romantic comedy-drama that revolves around two youngsters Bittoo Sharma (Ranveer Singh) and Shruti Kakkar (Anushka Sharma). Bittoo is under pressure from his father to come back to the village and Shruti wants to start her Wedding Planning Business before her parents arrange her marriage. Thereafter, Shruti and Bittoo become partners and start their own wedding planning company, ‘Shaadi Mubarak’. Things go great for the two, and the business earns huge profits. However, things go wrong when Shruti starts falling in love with Bittoo and as they had decided that business and friendship do not go hand-in-hand, have a fall out.
