Bhooth Bangla is a horror-comedy that unfolds as a chaotic tale set inside a haunted mansion. Arjun Acharya (Akshay Kumar), who lives in London with his sister Meera (Mithila Palkar) and father Dr. Vasudev Acharya (Jisshu Sengupta), travels to India after learning that his long-forgotten grandfather (Rajesh Sharma) has passed away, leaving behind a grand but crumbling estate in Mangalpur. Excited by the inheritance, Arjun decides to transform the mansion into a wedding venue for Meera and her fiancé Rahul. Despite warnings from the estate’s caretaker, Shantaram (Asrani), about a sinister spirit named Vadhusur—believed to abduct brides and halt marriages in the town—Arjun dismisses the superstition. He proceeds with the wedding plans, bringing in event planner Jagdish Kewalramani (Paresh Rawal) and his team. However, as preparations begin, eerie and inexplicable events start unfolding within the haveli, setting the stage for a bizarre and unpredictable turn of events.
