Set in 1971, as tensions between India and Pakistan escalate toward war, Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon (Diljit Dosanjh) is celebrating his wedding to Manjit (Sonam Bajwa) in a quiet Punjabi village. Joining the festivities are his closest friends—Army Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya (Varun Dhawan) and Navy Lieutenant Commander Mahendra S.
