Ghar Ki Izzat is a family drama. The movie revolves around Ram Kumar (Kader Khan), the eldest of four brothers, who lives with his wife Sita (Asha Parekh), and his three brothers – Shyam (Kanu Chauhan), Sohan (Jeetendra) and Mohan (Rishi Kapoor), even Sita’s younger sister Gita (Juhi Chawla), who is a child-widow, lives with them. The family lives together happily. Sometime later, Shyam gets married to Mona (Sonika Gill) and Sohan gets married to Sheela (Anita Raj). The arrival of two new people in the family disrupts the peace of the family, as they have different lifestyles and demand more respect and control in the family. Will Ram and Sita be able to bring the peace and happiness back in the family, or will this new addition break their family apart?
