Halla Bol is a Bollywood drama that revolves around a small-town boy, Ashfaque (Ajay Devgn), who is an aspiring film star. He works with a street theatre group run by a reformed dacoit Sidhu (Pankaj Kapur) who wants to spread awareness among the masses. Ashfaque’s hard work and determination pay off as he finally gets a break in Hindi cinema. He gets a screen name – Sameer Khan. Ashfaque pays the price of his increasing fame by losing his close friends and distancing his wife Sneha (Vidya Balan). However, his life drastically changes when he becomes the prime witness of a murder.
