Luck By Chance is a romance drama. It revolves around a young aspiring actor Vikram Jaisingh (Farhan Akhtar), who arrives in Mumbai to enter Bollywood. In Mumbai, he meets Sona Mishra (Konkona Sen), a struggling actress. Sona helps Vikram to get a lead role in a movie. Vikram soon becomes manipulative and cunning. The movie makes him a star overnight but his stardom comes at the cost of his relationship with Sona and other close friends.
