Mary Kom is a biographical sports drama based on the life of Indian boxer Mary Kom (the character played by Priyanka Chopra). The movie follows Mary Kom’s journey of becoming a legendary boxer. Mary Kom encounters a renowned boxing coach, Narjit Singh (Sunil Thapa), who also coached Asian champion Dingko Singh. She shares her boxing aspirations with him and with her dedication and hard work, she convinces him to train her too. Despite her father’s disapproval, Mary Kom starts training for the Boxing championship and follows her passion.
