Meraa Ghar Mere Bachche is a family drama. The movie revolves around a Kanpur-based woman named Geeta (Smita Patil), who is pregnant and lives with her wealthy husband and three children - Shrikant, Arun and Usha. Her world turns upside down, when her husband is accused of murdering the bodyguard of a courtesan and is sentenced for 20 years in jail. Later, she is thrown out of the house and she struggles to provide for her children, which leads to Usha’s death. She then finds shelter in the house of wealthy and kind-hearted Acharya, who entrusts all his wealth to Geeta’s name, and she gives birth to Kirti. However, her problems do not end there as she finds it challenging to deal with the problems in her children’s life. Will Geeta be able to make things right again?
