The story follows Sumit Mishra (Ansh Duggal), a carefree young man with a rather cynical outlook on women, believing that they enjoy unfair advantages through reservations and preferential treatment in almost every sphere of life. After his girlfriend back home marries someone else, Sumit moves to Delhi to pursue higher studies. There, he meets Paridhi (Pragati Srivastava), the daughter of his landlord, and the two soon develop a romantic and physical relationship. However, Sumit's deeply ingrained prejudices lead him to view Paridhi as someone suitable only for casual fun, while considering another college girl, who likes him and is a virgin, more suitable for marriage. Things take an unexpected turn when Sumit realises that he has genuine feelings for Paridhi. However, winning her hand in marriage comes with a condition: he must secure a government job to convince her parents. How Sumit overcomes his personal prejudices and navigates this challenge forms the crux of the story.
