Shreemaan Aashique is a romantic comedy drama. The movie revolves around Dushyant Kumar Mehra (Rishi Kapoor), who promises his uncle Professor Vishwamitra (Anupam Kher) that he’ll remain unmarried forever. Professor Vishwamitra runs the association of men who dissuade marriage and inspire other men to remain single. When Dushyant travels to a hill station for a holiday, he meets a girl named Shakuntala (Urmila Matondkar), who falls in love with him, but Dushyant doesn’t give her much attention. She follows him to his city, but gets no luck in convincing him. Later, things get complicated when Vishwamitra falls in love with Shakuntala. Is it to be found, whether the leader of the single men will be the first to break the promise of being unmarried forever.
