Swati is a social drama that follows the story of a young feminist woman named Swati (Meenakshi Seshadri), who lives with her single mother. Swati firmly deals with the patriarchal society, and when her friend gets raped in the presence of her husband, she acts as a counselor for her and motivates her to live. Later, she meets a political activist, who inspires her with his thoughts, and she falls in love with her. She then decides to change her mother’s life and arranges her marriage with a widower, who has a grown-up daughter. Will Swati be able to get her mother married again while firmly facing the taunts of the society?
