Tahalka is an action adventure thriller drama. General Dong (Amrish Puri) is an evil dictator who has captured several young girls to use them as suicide bombers in several populated areas of India. One day, while on the yacht trip, Major Krishna Rao (Mukesh Khanna) finds Dong’s hideout place and succeeds in rescuing many girls. However, Dong kidnaps Major’s daughter and challenges him to rescue her within a year. Major Krishna returns to India and recruits officers to go on a mission with him, including a disgraced ex-army officer Dharam Singh (Dharmendra). However, their plan is disclosed to Dong, who is now waiting with his army. Will the team of army officers be able to bring down the dangerous General Dong?
