Adapted from the book 'The One That Was Announced' by Annie Zaidi, Yours Truly is the story of a 57-year-old government employee Mithi Kumar (Soni Razdan) who is about to retire from her job where she travelled daily to the office by the local trains in Kolkata (Calcutta). While on her way to the office, she always got attracted to the voice (male) of the railway announcer whom she never got to see or meet. Now that she has time on hand decides to search and meet him as she imagined him as her soulmate. Will Mithi ever meet him, is he for real?
