Zakhmi Dil is an action romantic drama. The movie revolves around Jaidev (Akshay Kumar) and Gayatri (Ashwini Bhawe), the childhood lovers who were separated after a while. Years later, Jaidev became a successful music director in Mumbai. Gayatri travels to Mumbai in hopes to reunite with Jaidev, but due to some misunderstandings she believes that Jaidev is already married. Heartbroken Gayatri prepares to return to her town. Will the misunderstanding ever be cleared and the two lovers finally unite after so many years?
